ACMOS Special coatings
for the glass industry

for moulds and tools (resistant to high temperatures)

Paint-type, highly heat-resistant, sprayable special coating, for the surface treatment of blank moulds for the blow-and-blow process. The product forms a dull grey, adhesive film which enables a dry application onto the moulds, dispensing with the need to lubricate them for up to 5 hours.
43-22 (bulk ware) / 43-2422 (spray can)

Paint-type, highly heat-resistant, sprayable, multifunctional special coating, for the surface treatment of blank moulds, frames and stamps. The coating can be used universally, both for the blow-and-blow process as well as for the press-and-blow process. The outstanding abrasion resistance ensures excellent results in conditions under which other products would fail to perform their functions.

Paint-type, highly heat-resistant, sprayable, multifunctional special coating, for the surface treatment of blank moulds, finished moulds, frames and stamps. The coating can be used universally, both for the blow-and-blow process as well as for the press-and-blow process. Where extreme conditions prevail, service life is significantly extended thanks to the outstanding abrasion resistance.

The coating can be used universally, both for the blow-and-blow process as well as for the press-and-blow process. 43-36-1 (bulk ware)

Paint-type, highly heat-resistant, sprayable special coating, for the surface treatment of blank moulds for the press-and-blow process. The product forms a dull black, very adhesive film which enables a dry application onto the moulds, dispensing with the need to lubricate them for up to 5 hours.
43-51 (bulk ware)

Aqueous, highly heat-resistant, sprayable special coating, for the surface treatment of blank moulds for the press-and-blow process. The product forms a dull grey, very adhesive film which enables a dry application onto the moulds. The service life is between 15 and 30 hours, depending on the number of cuts and the finished product. Minimal consumption, as only a thin coating is required.
43-5001 (bulk ware)

Aqueous, highly heat-resistant, sprayable special coating, for the surface treatment of blank moulds for the press-and-blow process. The product forms a silver-grey, very adhesive film which enables a dry application onto the moulds. The service life is between 40 and 60 hours, depending on the number of cuts and the finished product. Minimal consumption, as only a thin coating is required.

Paint-type, highly heat-resistant, sprayable special coating, for the surface treatment of finished moulds and finished mould bottom plates. The coating ensures the prevention of microcracks, particularly during lettering and engraving. The coating has a service life of several days.

can substantially improve the sliding properties of the glass gobs in the chute.

Because of the extremely good impact strength and heat resistance of the coatings the life of the chutes is extended to several weeks. The coating will withstand the higher thermal load even with operation at higher cutting speeds.

for rotary blowing moulds in rotary blowing machines

Coating to produce high-quality mould coatings for rotary blowing machines. With this coating, a service life of 24 hours or more is achieved (2-component system, paintable). The product can be weighed out according to the amount required. The mixing ratio of 1 g hardener to 10 g product must be observed. The product is painted onto the mould using a soft brush. The mould is then covered with suitable litter (beechwood chips, ground cork, corn cob meal, etc.).

43-102 (2-component system)

Coating to produce high-quality mould coatings for rotary blowing machines. With this coating, a service life of 24 hours or more is achieved (1-component system, paintable). The product can be weighed out according to the amount required. The addition of hardener is not necessary. The product is painted onto the cold mould using a soft brush. The mould is then covered with suitable litter (beechwood chips, ground cork, corn cob meal, etc.).
