ACMOS Release agents
for the glass industry

for frames and blank moulds
Mould release paste (applied by swabbing) based on graphite and mineral oil for blank moulds with excellent flow and wetting properties on the hot blank mould. The product forms a very thin, but uniform parting film that has good adhesive qualities and does not peel off. The heat exchange between the glass and mould is not influenced, which is an important precondition for a uniform distribution of glass. This application prevents the onset of so-called orange skin on the surface of the glass, particularly with long-necked wine and sparkling wine bottles.

The product forms a very thin, but uniform parting film that has good adhesive qualities and does not peel off. The heat exchange between the glass and mould is not influenced, which is an important precondition for a uniform distribution of glass. This application prevents microcracks and scratches.
ACMOS 48-405
Mould release paste (applied by swabbing) based on graphite and mineral oil for blank moulds with excellent flow and wetting properties on the hot blank mould. The product forms a very thin, but uniform parting film that has good adhesive qualities and does not peel off. The heat exchange between the glass and mould is not influenced, which is an important precondition for a uniform distribution of glass. The product was specially developed for the narrow-necked press-and-blow process and for the blow-and-blow process, and is particularly suitable in the production of long-necked and broad-shouldered bottles. Even when no lubrication has been applied for lengthy periods, the parting film ensures excellent glass distribution and prevents microcracks and scratches.

for finished moulds
Mould paste (applied by swabbing) with excellent flow and wetting properties on the hot finished mould. The product forms a thin and uniform parting film that has good adhesive qualities and prevents cracks in the glass. The heat exchange between the glass and the finished mould is not particularly influenced.
ACMOS 48-141

for orifices
Mould release paste with excellent flow and wetting properties on hot orifices. The specially selected agents help to avoid cracks at the neck joints, for example. The product is also beneficial during the loading process. If used sparingly, only 2 bottles/containers per batch need be discarded.
ACMOS 40-26
Mould release paste with excellent flow and wetting properties on hot orifices. Flaws such as cracks on the neck joints (heavy bottles with small orifices) are avoided. The special composition of the agents is beneficial during the loading process. There is minimal scrapping after lubrication.
ACMOS 40-30
Glass mould grease with very good adhesion to metal; based on graphite, mineral base oils and high-quality complex soaps; moistens well and forms a thin parting film with good adhesive qualities. ACMOS 48-410 is used to insulate the contact points between the glass and metal, and prevents the formation of cracks or the adhesion of the glass.
Application possibilities:
Dead plates in polishing furnaces, hand tools in laboratory glass production
Rotary blowing process:
Blow heads, working rings, fixtures for the glasses in the stem-pulling machine, centering cones, etc.
