| Film forming Release Agents |
All listed ACMOS Release Agents are building a film on the mould surface. These films are water-soluble.
We recommend to prime the moulds with ACMOSAN P 82-4 before starting work with the film forming Release Agents. ACMOSAN P 82-4 should be served up equable and accurate with a tag onto the moulds. Afterwards it can be polished. ACMOSAN P 82-4 gains the wetting power of the mould surfaces. If there are remainders of silicones, fats or oils which could irritate the equal wetting power of the film forming Release Agents, they will be neutralized by ACMOSAN P 82-4. |
Relative viscid film forming Release Agent, high resistant against Styrene. Can be served up with a tag or sponge. ACMOSAN 82-177 does also not run off vertical areas. The film is very abrasion-proof and effect refulgently surfaces. The drying time depends on the moulding-temperature, air-humidity and gage of the film, it will take approximately 5 – 10 minutes. ACMOSAN 82-177 is also available in an inked version, called ACMOSAN 82-177 grün. ACMOSAN 82-177 |
Film forming Release Agent based on ACMOSAN 82-177, but in a more liquid modulation. Can be sprayed by using spray guns. ACMOSAN 82-177 S |
| Pastes and liquids |
Paste Release Agent. Silicone-free. Primarily applicative as ground coat. Gains the wet ability of mould surfaces for using film forming Release Agents. No release effect on it’s own. ACMOSAN P 82-4 |
Paste Release Agent for high mould temperatures. Silicone-free. Active ingredients from ACMOSAN 82-7203. ACMOSAN P 82-9 |
Paste Release Agent. Silicone-free. Similar to ACMOSAN P 82-7099, but “softer”, and therefore easier to polish. Dries a little faster than ACMOSAN P 82-7099. ACMOSAN P 82-271 |
Paste Release Agent. Containing silicone. Normally you get a high brilliance after polishing. ACMOSAN P 82-403 |
Liquid version of ACMOSAN P 82-403. Containing silicone. Could be sprayed or processed by hand. ACMOSAN P 82-6403 |
Release Agent for extremely demands. High silicone content. Resists high temperature. Good sliding-abilities, hence best for fabricate tubes of epoxy resin, which have to be taken off the bristles after hardening. ACMOSAN 82-4012 |
Liquid Release Agent. Containing silicone. Could be sprayed or served up with a tag. Very abrasion-proof. Especially adaptable for polyester concrete and prepregs. Dries fast. ACMOSAN 82-6001 |
|
Soft, white paste. Silicone-free. Normally used at room temperature. Heat resistant to approximately 140°C. After giving a coat the Release Agent must dry up about 5 -10 minutes. Afterwards the film has to be polished out. We recommend to serve up ACMOS P 82-7099 in a slight coat, because it is more difficult to polish a thick one. ACMOSAN P 82-7099 normally causes brilliant surfaces after polishing. ACMOSAN P 82-7099 |
Liquid version of ACMOSAN P 82-7099. silicone-free. Can be sprayed or processed by hand. ACMOSAN 82-99 F |
Liquid Release Agent. Silicone-free. Can be sprayed or handled with a tag. Heat resistant up to 150-170°C. At mould temperatures below 100°C the solvents vaporize very slowly. ACMOSAN 82-7203 |
Release spray. Silicone-free. Propellant contains no CFC. The acting agents are similar to ACMOSAN 82-7001. Especially adaptable for batch and moulding production. ACMOS 82-2405 (Spray) |
Semi permanent Release Agent |
This special group of ACMOS-Release Agents is building a very abrasion-proof film on the mould surface, which allows a high quantity of separations per job. The processing hints have to be intended strictly. ACMOSAN 82-6007, ACMOSAN 82-6009, ACMOSAN 82-7008 (please request special leaflet)

internal Release Agent |
The internal ACMOS-Release Agents have to be stirred into the resin accurately. In cases, a gel-coat is used, normally the Release Agent can unproblematically be added to the gel-coat-resin.
Internal Release Agents should never be stirred into the resin directly. It is recommended to produce a highly concentrated master batch, which will be added to the rest-approach. A stirrer should be used for help.
The addition amount couches between 0, 5% and 2 %. It depends on mould-geometry, mould-quality, styrene-content etc. The parameter which is best for the particular production-process has to be found out by trials. From our personal experience in the most cases an addition of 1% is sufficient. Some of our customers even work with smaller concentrations.
We recommend to surface new or cleaned mouldings additionally with an external Release Agent e.g. ACMOSAN 82-7203. During continuous production an occasional application of external Release Agent could gain the de-moulding properties. |
Internal Release Agents for cold and warm mouldings up to ca. 90°C. Could also be used for polyester concrete in combination with the external Release Agent ACMOSAN 82-7001. ACMOSAL 82-837, ACMOSAL 82-847, ACMOSAL 82-860, ACMOSAL 82-866, ACMOSAL 82-871 |
Internal Release Agent for mouldings using a heat exceeding 120°C. Also applicable as internal Release Agent for pultrusion-method. ACMOSAL 82-853, ACMOSAL 82-866 |
